pass, a 22-yarder to William Dukes with 17 seconds remaining, lifted Florida Atlantic to a 34-27
victory over Troy on Saturday night in FAU homecoming game.
It’s also the first FBS and conference win for
the FAU Owls this season, after newcomer South Alabama defeated FAU in their
homecoming game in Mobile, Alabama. FAU is now Owls (2-6, 1-4 Sun Belt
Conference) and the Troy Trojans are (4-4,
3-3 Sun Belt Conference). The Florida
Atlantic Owls may have hinder the Trojans chances of reclaiming the Sun Belt
Conference crown.
