Middle Tennessee bouncing back with a win over Georgia Tech

With an upset over one of the ACC powerhouses Benny Cunningham rushed for 217 yards and five touchdowns Saturday to lead Middle Tennessee State to a 49-28 win over Georgia Tech.

Middle Tennessee QB Logan Kilgore passed for 246 yards (17-of-23 passes) for Middle Tennessee (3-1), of the Sun Belt Conference, as the Blue Raiders dominated the Yellow Jackets at home.

The loss was Georgia Tech's first loss to a non-BCS school since 1996. The Yellow Jackets have also lost consecutive home games for the first time since 1988.

Middle Tennessee open their season on a unexpected lose to McNeese State, since then came back and showed that they are ready to compete again. The Blue Raiders have won three games straight since their first game of the season, beating two non-conference teams in C-USA Memphis and ACC Georgia Tech and then conference foe Florida Atlantic.

Middle Tennessee will host UL-Monroe another improved SBC team that is on the move in the Sun Belt on Saturday, October 6th at 3:30, this will be an awesome matchup to watch and attend.
