ULM tried to hold off the Bears of Baylor

In a close game between UL-Monroe and Baylor at the Warhawks home field, it was a game that I thought the Warhawks should have won, however it didn’t happen that way.

There was some mistakes that cause that lost, but the Warhawks played very well and is on my most improved list.

Louisiana-Monroe fell to 1-2, dropping its home opener in front of a Malone Stadium-record crowd of 31,175. The Warhawks opened with consecutive overtime games, beating Arkansas and losing to Auburn.

Baylor headcoach admitted "It was a dogfight," Baylor coach Art Briles said. "They are an extremely hot football team right now that has a tremendous amount of confidence. We walked into an environment that we knew would be a great football atmosphere to begin with. They have been good for a while. They just play a tough, tough nonconference schedule."

Browning end finished 25 of 39 for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
