South Alabama recruiters and coaches are working hard at recruiting; coaches brought in another great player in Defensive End Willie Williams, Jr of Americus, GA. Williams a 6’2 and 255lbs defensive end became the Jaguars 11th commitment for the 2013 class.

South Alabama beat out schools such as Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, and UCLA for this awesome football athlete that is rated a three star defensive end by 247sports.com

Americus head coach and athletic director Michael Pollock told the Mobile Register that the Jags are getting a good player in Williams. "He's a very athletic defensive end,'' Pollock said. "He can play tight end and defensive end, which he does for us, which gives you some idea of what kind of athlete he is.

Pollock said South Alabama, especially assistant coach Bryant Vincent, did a good job of recruiting Williams, who has received looks from a lot of SEC schools.
