Texas State gets top rated wide receiver for 2013 class

I said I was going to wait to cover the news of Texas State until after the 2012 season is complete; however I have started coverage of Georgia State so I only think its right to start coverage of the Texas State Bobcats.

Texas State will be a member of the Sun Belt Conference next season in 2013. The Bobcats will play just one season in the WAC this fall a conference that may be no more after this season.

Brice Gunter a wide receiver at Stephenville High School in Stephenville, TX verbally committed to Texas State a couple of weeks ago. He is a four star wide receiver on the ESPN 300 list.

Gunter 6'3', 190 lbs became the Bobcats’ second commitment of the 2013 recruiting class. A four-star receiver, Gunter chose Texas State over an offer from Air Force and interest from Baylor, Texas Tech, Houston, Tulsa, TCU and SMU. Recruited by defensive tackles coach Reuben Vaughn, Gunter is No. 173 in the ESPN 300.
