Askew of Big Sandy, Texas gave his verbal commitment to the Texas State
Bobcats on Tuesday. The 6’6, 207-pound receiver – who is projected to be a flex
tight end in college play.
Askew
also receiver offers and interest from Memphis, North Texas, New Mexico and
Wyoming.
Askew recently visited the Bobcats a new FBS program and Askew said he likes head coach Dennis Franchione and the rest of the Bobcat coaching staff. He was recruited by linebackers coach Brad Franchione.

Askew is a senior at Harmony High School in Big Sandy, Texas and became the No.6 verbal commitment for the Texas State Bobcat. Texas State will enter the Sun Belt Conference in 2013.
