CSS to Air Arkansas State“Red Wolves Revival”

Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) is set to air four 30-minute episodes of the “Red Wolves Revival” television show, produced by 3 Penny Films, during the month of August.

The show will make its debut on CSS Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 9 p.m. CT with additional replays throughout the week.  The remaining three new episodes will air Aug. 14, 21 and 28 at 9 p.m. as well and will also be replayed on CSS at various times.

The television shows are based around a series of documentary films giving college football fans an inspiring view inside the A-State football team, highlighting a program that has garnered rising national attention since naming 2010 Frank Broyles Award winner Gus Malzahn as its head coach.

The television series will provide an all-access view of Arkansas State football, taking viewers behind the scenes from the day Malzahn was hired as head coach right through spring and fall training camps as the Red Wolves make preparations for their season opener against nationally-ranked Oregon on Sept. 1.

Each show will provide fans with footage of what it takes to prepare for a football season and the building of a program both on and off the field.  The television shows feature interviews with the coaching staff, key members of the football team and athletic department staff, in addition to much more.

Different from the television series, a YouTube-based video series also titled “Red Wolves Revival” features behind-the-scenes action of Malzahn and the Red Wolves and launched on April 11 with the initial video “Dawning of the Gus Malzahn Era.”  New videos are being uploaded each Wednesday through August 30.  The video series are available at www.youtube.com/user/AStateFootball.
