Tre Allen gives his commitment to Arkansas State

Tre Allen
On Monday Arkansas State picked up its 13th commitment of the 2013 recruiting class, as fullback/tight end hybrid Tre Allen (Tyler, Texas/Chapel Hill) gave the Red Wolves his verbal pledge.

Allen, a two-way standout at Chapel Hill, visited Arkansas State during the middle of last week and enjoyed the trip to Jonesboro, Ark., and the campus.

“I feel great. It feels good to know you have a future ahead of you,” said Allen, who was a member of the Chapel Hill team that won the Texas Class 3A Division I state championship last season.

The 6’1, 230lb senior, Allen chose Arkansas State over an offer from Memphis and interest from UTSA and Texas State.

Arkansas State currently has six three star players committed, I do expect them to be number one in 2013 recruiting.
